Not that I'm counting.
Son2 left this morning to return to California. We got up at 3 am to get him to the airport in time for his early morning flight. The missus drove him. I stayed home but couldn't get back to sleep. He made it to his house okay.
I haven't done any work on the short read or the novel today. Too tired to concentrate. I'll be heading to be soon. The only reason I'm still up is that Ace has to go out for his last potty break after 8 pm if we want him to make it until morning.
I hope you all had a good, productive day.

What kind of animal is your photo, I'm curious to know. A small bear or a badger?

@kobesbuddy Black bears inhabit our woodlands here in NC, too.

@DWDavis In Michigan we have black bears, they feed on berries and are herbivores.

Your son isn’t in the path of all that bad weather out there, is he?

@JudyEv We have him wearing a doggie diaper indoors to catch the pee. It's the other stuff we're worried about. He's good about going to the door when we're home. It's during the week between when we leave and when the dog sitter shows up at noon that seems to be the problem. I'm thinking of setting up an indoor pen with potty pads on the floor for him. I don't think the issue is going away.

I would love to write a book for kindle but don't even know where to start. I have 2 ideas mulling around. Can you recommend any websites or online classes that help people learn to write a Kindle book?

I recently "met" a fellow writer and self-publisher by the name of Rob Bignell on the CounterSocial site who has written 4 books called "7 minutes to ..." and they all deal with writing, from how to write your first story through how to promote your self-published book. Each is 99 cents. I've included the link to the one I think you'll find most helpful in getting started, "7 Minutes a Day to your Best Seller."
You might also find some useful hints among Ron's blog posts about getting started as a writer.
