Saw a real gun yesterday...from far...

I was picking clothes from my eastern balcony (surprised that I work? I do). I saw this policeman in the balcony of next building, which is what...about 30 feet from us. Naturally, I was curious. We Indians are not accustomed to seeing police in homes like they show in crime serials. And well, bad manners are condoned out here...not even thought of. So yeah, I remained there to figure out what was the issue. He was talking to my neighbor - an elderly man almost 90. I kept the clothes in and when I returned, I saw the policeman trying the gun ...pointing at me ...or may be something in our direction and even pressing the trigger. Boy was I happy it was an empty gun. He seemed like a man in 40's, still I felt like asking if it was a genuine gun - kinda, why would anybody that old want to be playing with toys. He said yes. This is the first time in my entire life...(I am 63.5 years old), that I have seen a genuine gun. I naturally didn't want to be in the balcony for long. If that guy decided to load it and use me as target practice, who would repair Pony? Have you ever seen an authentic gun that too pointed at you or the bulb in your balcony?

Thats bad already if it is in people's directions. America does not have Marines weapon policy but that fool would have feared for his life for being unsafe. Why its amazing this country getting so loose with their rules. I mean if they at least be about that many would feel much safer.
