She Likes Her Bed

Miss Eye Patch was in my room while hubby watched football. That's where I had her crate last night. Right after she walked in I took this picture. In minutes she was sound asleep. You can see the door is open. She did have a boo boo today. I think she slept to long this afternoon. As we were headed for the door she dribbled a little bit. But she finished outside.
I did get the laundry done. Also took Patch out to meet the goats. She likes them more than they like her 
. Except for that I didn't do to much. Need to catch the dishes up tomorrow.
Took this video after I got the harness fit to her. As you can tell she isn't happy with it. I will put it on her for a few days before I start teaching her to walk in it.

A friend of mine has 3 therapy dogs, all Border Collie. They go to schools, nursing homes, assisted iiving facilities, and so forth. Hers are trained of course to handle a lot of people at once, but they truly are very smart dogs.

I fostered a dog for a year for a friend who was deployed overseas. He hated the idea of re-homing his dog, he truly loved that dog a lot. I said I would take it, he paid the vet bills and expenses because he wanted to. It ended up being about a year and a half. The dog was named Bandit, he had a patch like your dog over one eye. Such a sweetheart and a really good dog. I cried when he went home, and we shared visits for years.

Glad you kept the dog for him. They become family. I would feel the same way when I had to give it back
