Where I live is in northeastern area, as it is every year, it should be superly cold in this period of time usually at -30 celcius degree, but today it is 1 celcius degree above 0. I have to take off my down coat and feel warm as spring.
What about the weather in your area?
Kinda worry about the global climate, I've heard that flowers blosom in some area in the Actic pole.

If it's really not global warming, it'll be best. I remember when I was a kid, the temperature outside was over 30 degree below, and the snow was 2 or 3 feet deep, but now we see less snow through the whole winter, it's warm but I still like what it was before.

@ifa225 This abnormal weather around the globe is even more deteriorating, those catastrophic scenes in movie might be not far from us. I hope what I'm thinking now is just my illusion.

Yeah, the biggest city nearby is Shenyang. I can't imagine you living with 39 celcius degree. It's too hot for us, it would be above +30 in summer for half a month or so. So you need to use air conditioners? I remember last year or the year before last, there was a disastrous mountain fire in Paradise, a town in the US, which lasted for a month because of high temperature. What is the temperature like in your area?

@maggiesunjuan We are house-sitting and it might be one or two degrees hotter here than at our own home but there isn't much difference. A lot of people have air-conditioners and here we also have a swimming pool. I looked up Shenyang. It seems quite near the coast but I know you don't live there.

@JudyEv We live nearby SY but not in the city. Even SY is still far away from the coast. Here we live is a basin surrounded by continuous mountains. Climate here is very good. In winter it's cold but not too much dry, usually some degrees higher than cities around. We do have air conditioners too, it is said that with many air conditioners running the temperature outside goes up, and the media said many of you westerners don't have airconditioners because electricity expenses are very high. I am surely doubtful on that.
