What's a party without food?

The venue being miles away I had to do a search to look for a good caterer and I found one I decided on a veg menu as being a festive season there would be occasions to eat heavy food any way.
Oranges, milk and water bottles were there for the asking and the menu included - paneer mutter curry, apam, gobi manchurian, mushroom masala, veg biryani, fig ice cream and gulab jamum.
The kids I am told had several helpings and that was a nice piece of news for me. They were after all the VIPs

The Food Menu that you shared wants me to eat quite a lot of them!
It's another matter that due to certain reasons, we are avoiding outside food.
Yes such events are even all the more special for the kids to enjoy.

We too do not eat outside food. But this party is organized once a year for the less privileged kids. I have written many posts on this party in the last couple of days.

It has a leaning on the Chinese way of cooking using soya sauce.
