What Time Does Your Day End?

United States
January 10, 2023 8:39pm CST
I was just sitting here thinking about what time my day should end. Some people do their list for that day, I guess what I am asking not what time you go to bed but when you relax and call it a day. Do you have a certain show or movie you like to see. Do you be online, do you rest and get back up, I am just wondering, I need to develop a habit of doing things different, just don't know where to start. Right now I am reading more or say trying to.

I usually read and fall asleep reading. Since I'm using the Kindle app on my phone, my phone shuts off when I don't touch the screen for half an hour.

It downed on how I want to relax usually it’s after the kids go to bed and I’ll listen or watch a show, some times I work more on my book which to some isn’t relaxing but to writers it is. If I’m not in the mood to write the I read a little before waiting till it’s 10pm when I take my night time meds and call it a night.

I’m usually ready to relax by 7, but occasionally have laundry to finish and the kitchen to clean. I try to be done by 7 though.

I spend most of my "down time" online. Not always good for me, but I do it.

We have our dinner at 7:30 p.m. I usually turn off my computer when I go downstairs to prepare dinner (6 or 6:30 p.m.). After dinner we watch a movie and before 11 p.m. we go to sleep.

For me it is generally right after dinner and we usually eat around 730pm. I eat my food and watch a little TV and that's pretty much the end of my day.

I will get up after my father and mother prepare breakfast. This time is about 8:50 to 9:00 in the morning. Then we will have breakfast in about 20 minutes. I sweep and mop the floor every day. Most of the other time I use my mobile phone to surf the Internet and browse all kinds of boring information.

@popciclecold There are 10 days left for our Spring Festival. I will not work before the Spring Festival. So I'm bored to surf the Internet at my parents' home

The body and the mind need rest. For me, it's around 9:00 pm after dinner is done the kitchen is clean and everyone is in their perspective areas. I go down to the den and get reacquainted with the remote control until the TV is watching me. Or from the words of the book I am reading start to run into each other.

Usually about 2 AM. I generally get into bed about 11 then play relaxing games like jigsaw puzzles, or watch videos, or chase rabbit holes….or, sometimes, all three!

I am on line too much. I plan on starting to work again on a troublesome short story. That is better for my mind than some other things.

Routine work sometimes makes us bored, so every now and then we have to take a vacation to clear our brains
