Before negative spills
All over you again
You occupy the mind
With books in place
No other way exists
To calm the mind
Books are the easiest way
To occupy the mind
Before you fall ill
Thinking all the while
Before you fight
With your mother who smiles
Occupy your mind
Before you begin to see negative
Therefore it was announced
Educate each home
Educate each stone
All will change to better
If sound is what you learn
Whether you read
Or whether you write
Surround your space
Occupy your place
Occupy your mind
Before you sin again
Before you fall short
In your eyes
Occupy your mind.
Before your brother
Looks like enemy
Before your sister
Is made to weep,
Occupy your mind!
That’s the best in go!
So this is one major reason
Why educate!

Of course, we are not just solely mind people, though.
We need to spend time in our hearts too.
An occupied mind, which is just full of book learning never equates to the real wisdom of life's experiences that fill our hearts with truths, while also uncovering the truths already there too.

@Aakk77 Yes, I probably write more than I read too.
I do like to read too, though, as it gives me much food for thought, and provides me with new ideas sometimes too.
