Today was halfway there day / myLot

Today was our 90th school day. It marked the halfway point of the school year. It also marked the halfway point of my final year of teaching. Tomorrow begins the countdown to the end. I have a great group of kids whom I love, but I'm glad they're my last class. So, you are y'all doing?

I had a nice long comment all written out, and then Chrome decided to die. So, I am making dinner and working on editing. Book should be ready for you to read by the end of the month. I can't believe it's your last year!

Time flies and it will continue to fly. I'm glad your last class turned out to have great kids . . . you will go into retirement on a most positive note.

Having such a good class and knowing what's coming up next year, I chose the right time to retire as I will leave with great memories of these kids.

I assume you are going to reach retirement? Half away there already wow it doesn’t feel possible it’s been half a year already since my daughter graduated and halfway until my niece does.

I’m well. We had no problems here with the weather today, but there were three small tornadoes elsewhere in Kentucky. Nothing like what they had in Selma, Alabama, though.

@FourWalls True. I've watched on radar as storms roll over Raleigh and give out by the time they reach I-95.

We seem to be in a weather bubble here. The heavy storms went around us. The snow isn't quite going to reach us. It's like waiting for the other shoe to drop.

If this past week is any predictor of the future, each day will go by slower than the last. I hope this won't be the case. My friend and Principal, who is retiring with me, is even more ready than I am to see this school year draw to a close.
