12 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a very good day. Last night when I went to bed, I didn't think I would be going to the pool so I didn't prepare to get up early. Still, I was up early at 3:30. I got my Bible study done before I left for the pool. I expected it would be slippery, but it was good this morning.
I'm thankful for the time in the pool this morning. I did my personal best getting 40 laps in 45 minutes. 
I was doing a lap a minute for the first half hour. I also spent more time than usual in the hot tub. I was ready to get out when the 'talker' showed up. He's always interesting.
I'm thankful I got my laundry done this morning. While it was in the washer, I went down and worked on the bike.
I'm thankful for the workout on the bike. I got my personal best on it as well. Five miles in 21:24. I was sweating a beed when I finished. It felt good to get my personal best. My average speed was 14 MPH. So, I was trucking.
I'm thankful for my nap this morning. I really needed it. I got an hour and a half then went right down to Canasta.
I'm thankful for Canasta. I extended my winning streak to three weeks in a row.
Okay, that's my day. Here are my exercise/food stats for yesterday.

Walking - 74 Minutes, 7647 Steps, 1.45 Miles, 303.9 Calories
No bike yesterday

And I plan to, now that the stress of appointments and travelling is over. This weekend I don't plan to stay on track...but get back into it hard core Monday

Looks like you had a great day. Thanks for sharing the picture. It seems that you're pretty active to accomplish all that in one day. It's pretty cold where I'm at. I get a little more sedentary this time of year

That we had good weather for going out today. Chilly seeming active and happy, he usually is. He seems to want to be in society a lot, too (what we call the rest of the house outside our bedroom), and we're more than happy to allow this. We just put him up when we are in and out a lot, so he doesn't get outside.

Glad your canasta winning streak continues on.
I am thankful for you Daily bible studies. I learn from them. I am also thankful we were safe when the storms came through last evening. They felt more like spring/summer storms not winter. Hail, high winds. torrential rains and high gusty winds.
