December was sort of a challenging month. It seems like when we head into winter in this harsh climate I fear being bored. However December was anything but boring. Early on in the month I had a quite a long stint of dog sitting. I had just got done dog sitting for the same people and had to turn around and go right back to it. I suppose I didn't have to, but I gave my word. They had went from 8 days to 6 weeks. I told them I couldn't do the 6 weeks, though I did stick to my original agreement of 8 days. At the same time I say my dear momma get sicker and sicker. All while arguing with me about how "well" she was. Well it turns out she was sick with infection due to being on chemo. She had to be hospitalized three times over this issue, and is in the hospital now, taking care of side effects from all the antibiotics. She's doing fairly well though now. But it was unspeakably stressful early in Dec.
Later in Dec. - we had all sorts of plans - a Christmas party at Church, Christmas eve with friends, but those things got canceled. Mom and I celebrated Winter Solstice with gifts, treats, and a special meal and watched a live broadcast of sunrise over Stonehenge.
Otherwise declutter continued and though much has been done it doesn't seem like a lot at all.
As for goals - I tried 4 new recipes, particularly good was the mulled wine, and pretzels with toffee. S0-so Chicken Enchileadas. Not as good was the pot pie soup.
Exercise I managed to get 14 days in. Over my goal. I attribute this to my Supernatural VR subscription renewing.
So December was anything but dull.
How was yours? How is your New Year?

@FayeHazel It's been great. We might have another one in February and we have more later in the year.

I went to India at the start of December and returned on 20 December. The remaining days went by very quickly as I was busy planning for Christmas and New Year.
I think I have been enjoying myself too much that I now have Covid I presently self-isolating

Sometimes that is ok too, less to take out, and less to put away.

What is supernatural VR subscription. I would love to work out and achieve the desired body I want but I lack motivation.

It's been great so far. You need a virtual reality headset such as a Meta Quest - to have it. It has you do different workouts such as flow, or boxing, and there is a pre-recorded coach with inspirational messages to urge you. Here's a video that explains better than I can :-) Good luck with your fitness goal :-)
