It is called the Celebration Tour and it will be seen in both North America and Europe. It will run from June through December. She doesn't have a new album to support and said that she is looking forward to "explore as many songs as possible" from her 40 year career.
I just looked at the schedule and it is very hectic. Madonna is known for elaborate stage shows with very physical performances. She certainly isn't going to have a relaxing second half of the year.
My reaction? I honestly don't care. I like Madonna as much as the next person. I've seen her 3 times in her Blonde Ambition tour and the Confessions tour (twice). I also watched her Drowned World tour when it aired as an HBO special. She puts on a hell of a show. There is absolutely no disputing that. These days I'm a strange combination of bored of and weirded out by her antics. She looks like an alien freak on Instagram and has posted the most bizarre stuff including a clip in which she appears to come out as gay. She is 64 and is, frankly, just embarrassing herself in her attempt to stay relevant. I have no interest in trekking to NYC to see her perform at Madison Square Garden.
If they do some kind of concert special on HBOMax like they did for Lizzo I would watch it but I'm not going out of my way or spending hundreds of dollars to see Madonna live.
The singer, 64, snogged Jack Black, challenged Amy Schumer to emulate a sex act before Diplo flashed her pals after being told to 'show his d**k'.

Her struggle to stay relevant is kinda sad.

Maybe the reason that Madonna is going on tour later this year is based on the words of the late Donna Summer who was on stage on a concert tour news story saying that the reason she did a concert tour despite having to support a compact disc was and I quote "I was becoming a desperate housewife."

She would be of no interest to me either. I'd rather catch the show that Elton John did at Dodgers Stadium (I think that was it).
