The Flip Phone

United States

I am watching the Today Show, and young people are into flip phones. I never thought I would live to see that. In fact I kept a flip phone so long, mine was called a dinosaur. Now they are popular again. Must be like it is said history repeats itself. Have a great day. Just surprised I guess.

The flip phones the young people love aren't like the dinosaurs of the past. Imagine this... take a smartphone and fold it in half. That is the smart flip phone. The material is a foldable plastic that mimics the full glass screen on the current smartphones. Image belongs to Samsung.

That didn't take long, flip phones haven't even been out of circulation all that long.

I never had a flip phone and wouldn’t want one except to slam it shut on our electric company

They do say there is nothing new under the sun but I'm not sure that's very true.

I remember I got my first flip phone when I was in senior high school and now it become a hype again. Indeed, fashion always repeated itself.
