Make your bed

I think there is a book called "Make your bed". But I know from experience that I have a better day if I take a few minutes to make my bed in the morning. I have been told that doing simple tasks help to calm and center the mind. Doing things like laundry, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, making a bed, cleaning the dishes are some of the simple tasks that are along that line of thinking. In order to do these tasks, we have to slow down for a few minutes. I know when my anxiety is high, doing something or focusing on something simple helps me greatly. It helps far better than meditation or medication. Do you make your bed? What activities do you do to calm your mind?

I always make my bed. Meditation is a great way to relax.

Uh, my mind is very hard to calm, but yes, sometimes cleaning the house helps.
