I understand intellect, logical or scientific questioning. I am not talking of it.
I am asking is it good to question emotions or someone’s personal values?
“Why are you crying? Stop it! You are not a child anymore!”, a mother to her 15 years old daughter.
My question is it good to question emotions?
How I feel! How I feel like expressing it! Should be totally my personal matter! Why do parents, elders, teachers stop us from expressing by questioning our emotion? Our values too are questioned sometimes!
What is there to say Aww about?
Why have you to think this way?
Why should you clap when no one is?
Why are you yawning?
Why don’t you understand?
Why you feel so much about that day?
Why did you quarrel with no strong reason?
Who do you consider yourself to be?
You are not God! Okay?
My emotions, my expressions, my feelings, my thoughts, why are they suppressed in a few world! This leads to feeling of disgust and sadness in me at the end.

I don't know about yours but my mom was like that too. Never cared of my feelings. All she cared about was herself and her sisters, nephew and nieces. I was alwaysast person on her list. Now officially out of her list.
And yes your feelings has value and you cry if you feel like you need too.
