Missing Cat

My cats are indoor cats so there is no place they can go where they can really be considered missing. However, today Ringo was in the mood to chase Morticia around and she finally got tired of running and looking for places to hide from her brother. So while something else occupied Ringo’s attention she ran into the workroom and jumped onto a chair near the window. After a while, I looked over at the chair and saw what you see in the photo. At first, I thought Morticia had jumped down and gone away again and then I noticed her tail end sticking out. It took Ringo at least three turns in and out and around the workroom to finally locate Morticia. Then he stuck his head into the clothes that were covering Morticia making her jump and off they went again chasing each other. I was glad I did not have to run after them.

Playing hide and seek, that was a fun game for Morticia and Ringo! Our cat loved to hide or wrestle with other kittens.

@kobesbuddy that photo makes me laugh because once I looked at it closely I realized that Morticia thought if her head was covered then no one could see her not realizing that her tail end was visible

@RasmaSandra Morticia was like the ostrich! The head in the sand, with a huge body standing on the beach!

@RasmaSandra
I am glad they have each other to entertain and keep each other company. Do you think he saw her right away or just wanted to pretend that he did not see her?

I guess you could say that life is back to normal again with your cats.

@Nevena83 sort of like an ostrich that hides its head and leaves its big body for everyone to see and thinks he is in hiding

Hiding her head but her tail is out. Just like the nail. Its body is hidden but its head is out.

Good thing that your indoor cat was found safe and sound.
