Stuck!

This Russian cat (our uninvited visitor) seems to refuse to budge lately. My guess is, he lives on the other side of the busy road from us, and can only go home when there are very few cars passing by. (I followed him one day, saw him crossing that road!)
He saw me before and greeted me happily with sounds like 'ouch! ouch!' (weird, right?), then promptly invited me to scratch his bum for him. Then he turned, waiting for me to scratch his left side, right side, then his left ear, right ear, and finally, his chest, his chin...
I wish I got paid for my time!!!
---
It is sort of a dilemma, having this visitor!
It is so true re: 'be careful of what you wish for!' since I used to wish for having such a visitor cat which just comes, eats, and goes away - but that wish happened long before we were hit with the current inflation!
Have you ever wished for anything which later, caused you so much trouble! (It happened to me so often!)

Oh, when it stands up, I think it simply looks a bit like a rag, a shaggy creature (a very unkempt one hahaha), and it does look so weird (I think its tail is very unusual, but then, he has a typical blunt tail for a Siberian Forest.)
In the beginning, I called him Shaggy. These days, whenever it bullies our cats and chases our cats away, I call him Mafia!

We have had cats wanting attention and how they circle round our feet. May be if we encouraged them they would stick around.

@allknowing considering that the cost for pet food jumps up almost double in price these days, and we already have two cats in the house, I can't afford to give this cat any more food - more so because he has an owner who lives across the road from us. (These days, sometimes the stores run out of cat food because petrol gas becomes too high in price, and they couldn't deliver new stocks properly. There were some months when we ran out of wet cat food (must be the right brand, or the cats here won't eat).)

My love for animals got me. A family who lived across the road from us, had 6 cats, they were all lovely sweet cats. I hoped they came to visit and they did. I gave them some treats, I petted them, they came back home in the evening.
The family moved leaving behind one cat... well Gevi is now MY cat.

@YrNemo - This is how I got my cat, he is a nice boy now, but he was a bit difficult at the beginning.
Gevi will be 4 years old at the end of September, same age as the ginger kitty of my neighbors.
My husband loves animals, as Gevi loves to live outdoors and only comes inside a few hours a day he is fine with Gevi.

I did in the past because at the time, it seemed as it was a nice gesture required when making friends to an interesting cat. (He refuses to budge from our back door these days, unless we give him the correct food, then he will go back to his owner. He is outside right now and has been there perhaps for the last 12 hours or so.)

Those creatures are very cunning aren't they? (but cute regardless! Only our pocket got drained because of them!)
