Workout - Day 1

I did get one of my goals done for the day. I did a 30 minute dance workout. I only got about 2,500 steps during the workout. It is a start though, right?
I haven't succeeded at the other goals though, I didn't stick to low carb for my meal. I had quite a bit actually. I am paying the consequences with my blood sugar. But that is for my post tonight.
I need to work up to doing longer workouts and getting more steps in. I am coming from not working out for such a long time, and I am out of shape.
I'll workout for 30 minutes until I feel I can do longer. Probably add 15 minutes after that. Then another 15...and so on.
Back in the day I would work out 3 hours every day; usually 90 minutes at a time.
We'll see how long it takes me to not be so out of shape.

I think thats a good start. the point is to make the excercise as routine as we can, like doing it regularly 5 days per week. to make it as a habit. i think we should start the excercise by doing like anaerob because it can produce any HGH hormone which is can raise the fat burden in our body. bu of course we have to manage our meal too

@eLdave1s I like your good advice. @MommyOIEli2013's efforts make me think of the workouts that I do. They help me to keep going though it would be easier if I didn't make the effort.

You did one workout. That's great. Just forget the past and pat yourself on the head cause you did something. Congrats!

@MommyOfEli2013 You should be congratulated for doing one step. See the small diamonds for what they are. Appreciate that you have done something. Looking at the small picture gives me an appreciation for the bigger picture- I can't imagine going to the pool for the six months but I can think ahead to next Monday and I can imagine getting into the car and driving it to the pool. BUT for six months? That sounds dreadful. Monday is okay, though.

Is it though? I don't know I should be congratulated for one... maybe when I do months in a row and show a good amount of weight loss. I am just that kind of person. I don't really celebrate small victories...

@sallypup I just know my track record and that I don't stick to things very well. So one time means nothing to me. If I get into the routine of it, then that is a different thing. I get what you are saying, same here about thinking of doing things for that long versus the next day and so on...

That's a good start for someone who's out of shape. Keep at it, you'll get there.

Well I figured I should start somewhere... but couldn't do too much. I get out of breath just doing normal things at the moment
