RIP Truth Social

No no no one has pulled the plug on Trump's social media site yet but it is only a matter of time. He had others create it since he was banned from Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram after inciting the January 6 riot at the US Capitol. Twitter's new owner, Elon Musk, recently reinstated Trump's account but he cannot use it just yet. He signed some 18 month deal to be exclusively on Truth Social. That time is drawing to an end, though, and he is not interested in renewing that committment. Today it was announced that Meta (aka Facebook which owns Instagram) will be reinstating Trump's accounts in the next few weeks. Again, Trump can't use them until his Truth Social deal expires in like May or June but then it will be GAME ON. He will be blowing up Twitter on an hourly basis as he used to. Truth Social is not a serious social media site and people presumably are only on there to see what Trump has to say. The company is in trouble anyway due to government regulators having issue with something or other. I don't care enough to pay attention to it. Mark my words: when Trump is out of his Truth Social exclusivity deal and free to post on the popular sites, Truth Social will be done within months.
Donald Trump, the one-term ex-president who lost the 2020 election by 7 million votes and proceeded to incite a violent and deadly insurrection, will have his Facebook and Instagram accounts reinstated after losing them for what CEO Mark Zuckerberg one day

I wish all politicians would disappear for about 30 days.
