enlightenment is selfishness.Charity is selfishness."I have a question on the last part of Krishnamurti's quote and I don't quite understand how charity or altruism can be a form of selfishness. Can you please help me answer that question for me?

the major motivation for giving to charity or any altruistic act is that it makes the individual feel good therefore is ultimately a selfish act blessed be

Charity is an act inspired in religions to get virtue so that a person qualifies for heaven.So mostly people never give money to help others.They use others as a stepping stone to heaven.They use others.
