I have a friend who was victimised twice by scammers. One involved her online order, where she received a confirmation phone call about her order. She was asked details of her credit card, which she unsuspectedly gave. She was charged twice. The other payment went to another account. She complained to her bank, who traced the scam payment, but the account had been closed and can’t be refunded. Have you ever been scammed or knew of someone who was?
