A male driver who lives in Lee New Hampshire is lucky not to have suffered any serious injuries when he was behind the wheel on Monday when he heard "an odd sound." during a winter storm. Just after the driver heard the "odd sound", he managed to get out of his auto when a tree branch fell into his windshield. The driver did not suffer any injuries from the fallen tree branch that broke his windshield. The Lee Police Department issued a statement begging drivers to stay off of the roads during a winter storm because flying objects will strike any auto and cause injuries to drivers on the road. Yikes, I wonder what that man needed to be on the road for in such dangerous weather. I am so glad winter here is short and usually not very dangerous.

That is a good question since when a major storm comes to my area, the television personalities beg the residents of the town to stay off of the roads since the first responders need to be on the road to rescue accident victims during the storm.

When I lived in New England, I saw several winter weather-related accidents. Glad this driver wasn't hurt.

Everybody from the newscasters to law enforcement officials beg motorists to stay off of the road due to first responders on mission to rescue injured motorists.

He might have been lucky getting out of the car. He could have been cut by glass when the windshield broke.

That is true. I remember many public officials on television begging persons to stay home during weather spots that are dangerous like rainstorms and snowy roads.

I have seen branches that land on the ground after a storm. They are huge.

We had a tree fall near us once. It made very little sound until it hit the ground so it was quite scary to think we could have been under it.

That is one of my fears that a tree that is located in my backyard will fall down and damage the fence that separates the two properties.
