It's that time of the year again! Royal Rumble 2023 is tonight and I for one am really excited. I absolutely love the Royal Rumble each year, it not only marks the start of the road to Wrestlemania but also opens up potential rivalries and also storylines in the lead-up to Wrestlemania as well. I also like to watch just to see the surprise entrants as well as sometimes, they can be really great entrants.

Hi Shortie, welcome to myLot! I hope you enjoy your time and interaction here. There are many wonderful people on this site.
I have never heard of Royal Rumble. Is it a British event? I've never been much of a wrestling fan, but when I managed a large facility here in Florida we would host WWE events several times a year, and they were always sellouts. So I know that wrestling is very popular.

Thank you so much for the welcome! :) Royal Rumble is a WWE Pay-Per_view event usually hosted in the US but we are hoping to one day get it in the UK :). It's a fun event with two matches consisting of 30 wrestlers that all get in the ring one by one with a 1 minute 30 pause between new wrestlers entering and they all fight it out and aim to throw one another over the top rope to be the last one standing. You have the male Royal Rumble and now a female Royal Rumble. The matches can in most cases last over an hour but they are really enjoyable to watch.

It’s funny that right after I commented to you that I had never heard of Royal Rumble, I saw a news article about it, and the story was talking about how much money is made from the event.

@moffittjc The Royal Rumble is SO MUCH FUN, and it's my favorite WWE event. Especially counting down to the next entrant and knowing who's coming out. I attended one in person back in 2014, and I had the time of my life.
