Cayote With My Dog

Friday was scary because my dog was caught by a coyote but I was lucky to run out as soon as I started hearing him whimper. If he didn't overreact to everything I would have being able to not let the coyote from even grabbing him. He always barks at squirrels, birds, dogs in the park (which we live by) like excessive that we usually see 99% of the time is a squirrel he barks at even at nights. So unfortunately Friday happened to be the 1% of something else. He was barking and I thought it was for a little thing that I got used to it. When I started him whimpering I went outside and just saw him running to the side of the house and the coyote left (I didn't get to see him) because it was too dark, I didn't even bother doing anything to not even turn on the lights but when I saw my dog on side he was hurt. I thought it was his end but took him to the vet and said coyotes teeth didn't go through any delicate area of my dogs neck. I was scared.... because there are lots of night where we go out same time and leave him outside and when we come home, he's there outside or in his crate outside. Wow...
