hello guys, good afternoon from Indonesia
i want to talk about my life, I think I have a quarter crisis in life
like suddenly I want to change my occupation from civil servant to data scientist or analysis
not for nothing, I have elderly parents and my current job forces me to be away from them.
And I see the opportunity to work in data remotely or better than now.
Am I wrong?

i want to do that, but my parent (my mom is still working) and my father has retired.
but my work is always on the move...

i already thought about it
i building an online business, and other businesses and try to learn about data
after all my business and I master the data, maybe I want to resign
but is it the best?

From what I'm reading seems like your parents are ok for now since they are working. I would study and learn the advanced skills. and plan for the future. And make sure my business and job are in place then move back with my parents.

You can do the jib of a data scientist if you can work remotely but you will be close to them but I don't think you can do much for them.

@kurniaadimas You have to stick to your laptop for hours and can't devote time to your parents. You have to depend on external help.
