Those who make an exhibition of their temple going without real devotion are hypocrites. Temple-visit is in reality an outward manifestation of the inner urge to see His Idol, which is symbolic of the ideal, and to fill the mind and heart with His thoughts. The true respect comes from prayers making loudly.

It's a way of showing our trust and faith in God. When we pray it's a communication with God. When you have a relationship with someone you need to talk to them, that's what it's like with God. He wants us to ask for our needs and trust that he will provide for them.

It is our way of communicating with God, because if we do not Pray then how does he know what we want. God might feel that a certain route is the best one for us, but we might consider that an alternative route is better, so if we pray then he knows what it is that we want.

The inner light is shining constantly. It reveals itself through the mirror called the mind. The defects in the mind blur the light within. But actually that light remains ever unaffected by the modifications of the mind. Man should ignore the limitations of the mind and should get fixed in the inner light. The inner light is God. Seek Him should be tha aim of man. The Ultimate Reality can be perceived only by constant practice. It is posible through prayers only. So we need to pray god whether one peeps or not peeped.

It is good to pray because it exercises the part of your brain that communicates with God. It helps strengthen the bond between you and him and helps you hear him better. It's more for your benefit than for his.

Intresting question, but I seriously think it's a religious thing that people use as there way of talking to God. I'm not religious and nor do I pray, So I can't see what other explanation there is for religions to pray.

in my opinion man made god up to answer the unanswerable questions. Praying is simply the way we can ask questions without bothering those in charge of society and take them away from their task of making as much money as possible for themselves. Remember work hard and you will get your reward in heaven. Never question or challenge anything do as you are told and you will be fine

Because it means we communicate with Him, we want to talk to Him. Even if He knows all our needs. But still, its like parents who seeks for his or her child to confide. We should pray because God wants us to be close to Him. Our relationship with God should be a continuous one. It's one way of saying we trust Him.

We pray for our peace of mind. Once we pray to God, tell him our difficulties, ask him to find a solution, we sought of feel releived. But of course, you shouldhave faith in Him.We will get the courage to face any difficulties in life.

I think it's a question of security. I don't know about everybody else, but I like to talk things out with those close to me, and if God is the closest person to you, and perhaps you feel, the most understanding, then, it's a way of talking things out with Him and reassuring yourself that you've been open and honest about things. Also, to thank Him for what He's contributed to your life... i.e. life itself, each beautiful new day, your realisation of your dreams, the beauty of nature around you, etc.
