I have a pet. My pet is cats. Let me tell you a little here. Well, I have several cats that I keep now.
I took care of them from childhood even since birth, I really love them like family. I gave them their respective names. I used to call them by name, and sometimes engage them in conversation.
More or less they understand what I'm talking about. They answered with a sweet "meow" accompanied by a gentle look in their eyes. It's quite fun and can eliminate boredom and loneliness.
There are lots of cute things we usually see from their antics. Oh well you know my cat likes to eat some fruits and vegetables. It could be that my cat is a vegetarian, ahaha.
How about you, can you tell me about your favorite pets?

I have a small male cat named Burt who likes to spend me in my bed during daytime hours and walk to the front door to go outside by meowing at me that he wants to walk outside and spend time outdoors.

Wow, that's interesting, my cats also spend more time indoors. They only went out briefly while we were cleaning the house.

@astutimeliana723 The cats inside of the house have their place inside with the exception of Burt who likes his time during the day outside he was an outdoor cat when he was adopted several years ago.

@Deepizzaguy Oh yeah, some cats are more comfortable indoors, and some are more comfortable outdoors. It seems to depend on their habits since childhood. As for my cats, they are allowed to go in and out of the house freely.

I don't have pets of my own. My mom and my younger brother have pets. I guess I like both dogs as pets.
I had pets before - an iguana and a python. It was fun while it lasted but I had to give up both to an animal rights group that ensured that both will be taken cared of.

@astutimeliana723 yes, I do.
Given another chance, I'd keep a snake for a pet again.

Wow, so you like reptiles? It's rare to keep reptiles as pets, and I'm very afraid of snakes.

I like dogs, but I couldn't get any because our landlord doesn't allow cats or dogs near our apartment. I now keep fish as pets, and I have a 10-gallon aquarium that is stocked with guppies and mollies. To help the fish acclimatize, I kind of aquascaped it and added some aquatic plants to make it look natural.

@astutimeliana723 It is more likely that if you recently purchased an aquarium, you should wait a time before adding any fish because the water conditions may have simply grown toxic or unstable for fish to survive in. Before introducing your fish to a new tank, you typically fill it with water to allow the tank's beneficial bacteria to colonize it. Weeks may pass before you take that action. You refer to it as water cycling. Since ammonia may form when you add fresh water to a new tank, there are currently no bacteria that may absorb them and transform them into less hazardous chemicals like nitrates.

Do you keep a dog and a cat at the same time? I've heard that dogs and cats don't like living together.

I love all animals and birds excepting pigs, rats and crows who are a real nuisance and the cause of many diseases.

@astutimeliana723 Our dog is angry with the cat. Our new cat likes to hang out now in our house than roaming outside

@averygirl72 Our cats, if a new cat comes to the house, they will all be hostile to it, so the new cat chooses to leave the house.

I do not have any pets I choose not to have them because to me they are an extra mouth to feed I can barely feed myself so having an animal is out of the question thanks for asking but this is my views on it and my opinion and I am sticking to it.

That's okay. You can keep it back. Something that comes and goes is normal, the most important thing is that it doesn't make us sad or traumatized.
