What are you having for breakfast on this rainy and cool Friday morning?

I just gobbled up the last "inch" of my burrito from the other day, along with three slices of bacon. That should keep me going through a two hour morning helping out at my friend's day care. Outside it is raining lightly, as it has been for the last several hours. But my feet are telling me it's not particularly cold out. I will have this afternoon off to do some writing and take care of some stuff I have to get done. How is your Friday shaping up?

I was supposed to meet April for lunch but she’s had an emergency with her mother-in-law and is at the doctors with her. But I will still indulge at the local best-burgers-in-town place she recommended….and have a chicken sandwich.

No rain here. It's frigid outside. Otherwise, it's nice. I had hash browns with eggs, onion, and plant-based cheese. And a banana. I'm glad the burrito and bacon will hold you through the morning. That must have been one huge burrito to last this long.

Heh. I just did a project. I had a bookshelf that was leaning like the tower in Pizza. (just kidding.) Not about the leaning, though. I straightened it up and hammered a bunch of nails into it.

@TheHorse A bookshelf collapsing wouldn't be good at all. Here, we have screwed the bookshelves into the wall so they can't topple over. At the other place, we had a strip of wood under the front edge to tilt them back a little.

Still recovering from last week's surgery. Had a hernia repair and up till today I felt like someone kicked me in the stomach. It isn't too bad today. Starting to get antsy to get something useful done. Had hot cereal this morning courtesy of my wife who is making sure I'm well taken care of.
