Letter To Ticketmaster

Good afternoon Ticketmaster, I am a lifelong music fan. I love attending concerts and have been going to concerts since I was thirteen. I am also a person with a disability who uses a wheelchair. The changes that have recently been made to the ticket buying process are unacceptable. In addition, these changes make it more difficult for people who use wheelchairs to buy wheelchair accessible seating. It is very difficult for me to purchase tickets online. The process is very similar to playing, "Beat the Clock" and losing when your time is up. I am requesting that you please reconsider this decision and reinstate the customer service telephone lines. Accessible, inclusive, practices benefit everyone, not just people with disabilities. Thank you so much for your time and careful consideration of this matter.

I hope this will make a difference and sorry that you are having to deal with this. A good to the point letter.

Did you actually send this same letter to Ticketmaster? What exactly did they change that now makes it harder for you?

They got rid of the customer service phone line, @shaggin. I posted it on their facebook page.

@MandaLee In my country there is a telethon that collects a lot of money and many hospitals for people (inicially children) with disabilities have been made. But the most important thing is that we have all bacome aware of some special needs that some people have. Now streets by law have a place where a wheel chair can go and not only stairs. And so do buildings and malls.

It would be nice if Ticketmaster would consider granting your request to have wheelchair reserve seating.
