Getting back after a long long time.

I've joined myLot way way back in 2007 and I was able to earn a couple of minimums at a time.. I think this was where I first earned something online and even tried online transaction as well. Made a couple of friends here as well but I am not sure if any of them are still here since I too went away as reality made me look for a job to earn money and contribute in the family..
There was even a time when something changed here in the site and earning wasn't a part of it so I guess that's a reason why I eventually looked out for other 'places' to earn. I ended up coaching Koreans to practice their English. That took about three years.
After that, I got into a government office and eventually worked even up to this day, so going eight years for me here in a department of an agency that deals with safe keeping film reels.
Things just go pleasantly unexpected for most of the time I guess.
How about you?

My Lot is getting better with my ability to learn how to write stories that attract readers since the other sites that I tried to write for pay required me to around 600 words and forbade me to discuss religion as a way to assist all of us to be happy so I left the site Vocals.

Thank for responding, @Deepizzaguy!
There are lots of that online these days. People easily get offended, for themselves or even for others who may or may not actually be offended at all and get into debates and arguments that just deteriorates everyone who participates in animosity towards each other.
Discussions can always be calm or respectful and not like debates wherein one should be declared a winner over the other. Some can always just agree to disagree and still be friends.

@ratyz5 Even though I do not agree with the views of some of The Talk panelists, I respect their point of view of issues I disagree with them.

Its when participants take it personally that emotions would get between whatever they are discussing. On those instances, discussion would sometimes go beyond the topic and even dwell on discrediting the actual person whom they are now arguing with.
That's why its good if there is a mediator, a good mediator preferably, so that there's that individual that can get both parties to regain their focus and steer clear from unnecessary arguments.

Hello @RubyHank!
Eight years.. I've come and gone from this site and the last I logged into, as per DaddyEvil, was February 2016.. but then started way back 2007.. and now looking back at my previous posts and comments, I sometimes cringe on my thoughts way back when I was still 'active' if I could say that.

@marguicha,
Thank you for the welcome :)
I too am not very good with names. Even in real life, I don't really remember people's names as easily as others but I tend to recall them eventually when I get to interact with them so often.
Eleven years, that's quite long :)

Thank you, @LadyDuck
Yes, we all can agree to that. Or else, we wouldn't be able to go online that much if we spent our entire waking hours only on the computer.. unless we actually do make a living while being on the computer like those Virtual Assistants that I hear get to earn quite a lot :)

There are those who actually do, like those VAs I mentioned before. Especially if one is a Social Media Manager of a particular business page/website online, depending on the business, one could actually earn a lot.
Then there are those who actually do more on content based creation online and that's building a following of sorts which goes with number of views and interaction I believe.
