Real life blonds. No hair dye...Caucasians. I have known other "whites"...but never seen real life blonds till today. Ok..as a child I did see one..
So if you are in India, and looking for job, ..there is a possibility ...to act in films...
Usually, the roles are small, and very rare...
And usually, foreigners get to be gangsters...beaten up by our heroes...
But coming to blond hair...I have always been curious whether it can be used for embroidery. I even asked coral whether it can be.
Don't be surprised, we sell our daily hair loss here... get steel vessels in exchange...
So my question is commercial one...please answer seriously. Evil grin.

I never thought about using hair in anything but wigs.

Most people in El Paso are brunettes but many of them try to dye their hair to an almost blond, it usually looks really tacky when they do. Is light brown hair considered blond over there?
So, how do you sell your hair, do you take yours from hair brushes or something?

Yes, we collect them in plastic bags...and then when these women turn up on streets, they shout ...we go to them, hand over the hair, and select the steel vessels they would offer in exchange...they also take old clothes...and if we want, they give cash. Mostly wigs, eyelashes, hair extensions, rugs, fertilizers...yes, these are some of the applications..

@vandana7 Oh, I don't handle emergency cases. They would just distract me the patients I want to handle.

I'm confused... What do you mean you sell your daily hair loss there?

What we get on our combs, we collect it in a box. Then periodically ladies come near our gates...they scream give hair take vessels..give old clothes take steel vessels...we call such ladies hand over the hair and take whatever we need from whatever they are offering.

@vandana7 Pretty and I both lose a lot of hair in the shower. I have to clean the tub drain all the time and get a small handful each time. I just drop it into the bathroom trash can.
Did I show you how long my hair has grown now?
Photo is mine.

Honestly, I don't know...but there is quite a lot of demand for hair...the regular discard from combs...that is why I was wondering how it can be used. Wig is one...but ..this much of demand ..it is also used in fertilizer industry. gardening composting and mats...yeah ..mats ..that is what prompted the embroidery thought.

We can also sell hair to make expensive wigs here, but I do not believe that hair are used for embroidery. Blonde hair is so fine, it would be a pain to use it.
One of my cousins is a natural blonde and my brother is also blonde, a lot blonder than I am.

Don't know of a market for hair here. But it should work if it didn't break

I wouldn't fancy using hair (any colour) for embroidery. It's so fine - and blonde hair is the finest - so threading the needle would be a nightmare, and it would break too easily. And of course most of the time the strands would be quite short.

Oh...so blonde hair is fine...hmm.. I tried with mine...but I took a few strings..not a single hair...yes, threading a single one was tough...but I decided it should be good for cross stitch needle..evil grin. So I tried on that...just that my curly hair would not have that finish..I thought blondes have straight hair so it would work very well for cross stitch...multiple strands of course.....

@vandana7 - I never thought about the variety of hair colors we have, just in my family. My husband was a red head when he was young. I am a brunette. Two of our daughters are brunette and two are natural blondes. None of them got the red hair gene. We also have a bald son-in-law and two have black hair. We have as much diversity in hair color in our family as possible!

@vandana7 - Well, my husband tends to have a hot temper, although he gets over it quickly. So, since he is the only red-head in our family, I would have to say, "yes," based on my experience.

That would be a rarity. I didn't know you sold your hair. I wonder if they would like grey hair? Sigh.

I don't sell my hair to get steel utensils. The blond girls are free to do what they can with their hair.
