Another beautiful tree

The photo shows the magnificent tree in the front yard of the place where we are doing some brick paving. The area where we’re working in at the front right-hand corner. I think the tree might be a lemon-scented gum. The trunk is straight and totally free of bark at the moment and there is a crow’s nest way up in the top branches.
I’m hoping it’s not a lemon-scented gum as they are known for dropping branches and this is a bit too close to the house for comfort. Once the sun went over, the tree created some very welcome shade.

@JamesHxstatic that’s a good question. I hadn’t thought of that.

It is a lovely tree but you're right, I hope it isn't a breed that drops branches. Those can do a lot of expensive damage.

@JudyEv I understand. Hopefully, they didn't plant it there.

Hope it don't drop any branches while you are there at least

Are you referring to the tree with the straight, whitish-looking trunk, or the tree with the big green branch hanging in front of the camera?

I'm not too worried about the branches but we've finished there now.

The Indian eucalyptus is different from the Australian ones. It's beautiful though.

Not a good idea planting any tree close to a house

I had a better look yesterday and it's actually in the neighbour's on their fence-line but you're right about it not being a good idea.

That is a lovely tree, I am tired of the palms I have around me and miss the oaks and birches in Latvia,

That's a beautiful tree. Does it smell like lemon?
I have a small bonsai lemon tree in my terrace. Though I don't get much lemon there, I love it for the lemon fragrance when the breeze blows.
