Fortunately we didn't get much rain yesterday. Hubs hasn't been down the basement to check on any flooding. Not much going on here. Meals on Wheels will be closed on Monday for President's Day; so we may get some Chinese and pizza this weekend. YUM!
32 days until spring!
Breakfast - Peanut butter bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Turkey, stuffing, mixed veggies, cranberry juice
Dessert/Snack - Cinnamon coffee cake and decaf coffee
Dinner - Peanut butter bar
What did you eat yesterday?

@LindaOHio I make a very plain quiche, basically just some cottage cheese on the crust and then scrambled eggs with a bit of milk in them.

I haven't made a quiche in ages. I've been having a taste for one. I love pizza. I wouldn't have been able to resist!

My sister in law made a big dinner, baked pork chops, corn, potato salad, pinto beans and banana pudding.

I'd go for Chinese.
For dinner I had a delicious riblet sandwich from Kwik-Trip, a local gas station chain around here. I was a bit sarcastic on the "delicious" part, but it did the trick in any event. I had some chicken McNuggets left from my McDonald's the night before—I just didn't want McDonald's three nights in a row.
I should be able to pick up the company truck from Holz sometime this morning and be able to head back home and end this miserable trip.

@porwest We spent a very admirable amount of money there. The owners will be able to pay their mortgage payment this month.

@LindaOHio Aww! I can understand when you have physical limitations things become very difficult. I am going through similar pain with my legs and back. But I work a job from which all my money goes in paying my rent. So I wish I could really get take away a sometimes. But we get horrible and expensive food here

We get Meals on Wheels just for lunch Monday-Friday. We don't get take-out very often. We both have physical limitations. I can't cook anymore; and my husband has problems with his back.

The other half brought me some tacos from the taco shop next to his workplace, so I had two tacos for dinner yesterday. I think I had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich for lunch. I know I ate other things, but I've forgotten what they were!

@LindaOHio I unfortunately finished off the ham, which was actually a pretty good brand. I'll have to keep an eye out for it again.
