My second kid is on 2nd grade of elementary school. He get home work from his teacher to create handy craft from unused stuff. For 2 days, my kid and me have no idea about that. Finally this Saturday we have an idea to create a Truck from Milk Carton. We use 2 milk cartons, one for bus body and one for bus head. Wheels made from bottle cap, using 6 caps, 2 in front and 4 rear. He very happy with the result, not great though. That is the way to me to spending time with my son this weekend. How about you my friends?

The truck looks good! I hope his teacher is happy to see it. I don't get to spend time with my son this weekend... He lives clear in Indonesia with his family.

@MasGion As parents too we should try to encourage children to use their creativity at home.

@MasGion That's a good idea. My husband and I were fortunate because our daughter continued to talk with us even when she was a teenager. She had her smart aleck times but mostly still spent time with us.
