Why am I so gassy today?

Do you ever have days when you feel like a big warm disgusting balloon? I'm having one of those days today. I don't think I ate anything unusual yesterday or today. In fact, my meals have been pretty benign. In any case, I have been farting and burping like a monster. I will be at a party tonight, and we will be inside. I hope I don't stink the place up. Or float off into space. Or just spontaneously combust. If I make it home tonight, I will write about my evening.

I know that there are food I must avoid because I feel like a balloon should I eat. I have tablets to chew if I feel "full of gas", it is horribly uncomfortable. I would stay home.

@TheHorse Of course we can refrain from burping and farting (in private and in public), but it is uncomfortable.

I had to play music tonight. I could not stay home. I think @Vandana7 is right. I am a Saint. My miracle? I did not burp or fart once at the party tonight.

Certain foods do it to you. Gas x works pretty well, Charcoal supplements also.

You wanna see a big warm disgusting balloon? Just feed me ice cream or give me a glass of milk. I'm lactose intolerant. The results won't be pretty. The authorities will need to wear two hazmat suits each to come in and clean up the mess afterward.

Roast one tablespoon each of cumin seeds and fennel seeds and half tablespoon of carom seeds and grind it together with a pinch of black salt and asafoetida. Take 1/4 th of the powder with warm water. This will digest whatever you have taken and release the gas in your gut.

starchy and food with beans or dairy, often do that. I love potatoes, but whenever I have them, I must drink a lot of soda drinks (coca cola or pepsi will do for my case!).

Yep. Farting is fun and leads to laughter. My friend's daughter did have a sleepover party many years ago at which the girls (all around ten) had a farting contest upstairs. I innocently asked how the winner was determined.
