Firefighters in West Virginia rescue dog from a house fire

The Charleston West Virginia Fire Department answered an emergency call from a resident on Monday morning when a house fire in a garage. The firefighters were able to put out the fire inside the garage quickly. The firefighters were able to rescue a dog whose gender and name was found out cold. Thank goodness the firefighters were able to use an oxygen tank to revive the dog who then was taken by an ambulance to a local animal hospital where the dog n is being treated for smoke inhalation. The condition of the dog is not known. No one was hurt in the house fire which is being investigated by the authorities. Link is wowkv.com/news/west-virg...

I am happy that the dog is okay after the firefighters were able to revive the dog using their special equipment to give him or her air to breathe.

That's a big dog, poor thing. The resident should have let the dog out after calling the fire department.

You have a good point that the owner of the dog made an error in judgement during the fire in the garage by not letting the dog out of the home during the fire.

I am in agreement with you that the firefighters used their knowledge to revive the dog after the dog was unconscious from smoke inhalation.
