Apart from loads of benefits what made me go for it was that a boiled egg helps macular degeneration as it contains Lutein. I also read somewhere it also induces sleep.
I take a boiled egg every night. Although it is reported the yellow part is not good for cholesterol this theory is now disputed. I do not think a single egg will do that and here the eggs are small.

@allknowing I don't use anything on ours either. I slice them into wedges and keep them on the side.

@allknowing It might solve my hunger issue from 6pm to 7pm at night because I never eat after 7pm so then if I know i am not eating, I want something.

@allknowing I only order my groceries once a month and I order 18 eggs they went up from $5 to a bit over $7 and I stopped with the eggs so I can order other things.

Boiled eggs at time aggravate gastric problem therefore I don't take it at night.

Good to know that boiled eggs has that benefit. I'm amazed over the years how medical experts were all over the place about eggs. Eat eggs. Eat only the eggs whites. No eat only the yoke. It was just insane. I believe that if you eat most things in moderation it shouldn't be harmful.

It is not the reason for diabetes but those having diabetes should not eat it as it contains high levels of protein.
