Lillian Flanders who is a 19 year old female resident of Bay City Michigan was recently by Bay City officials for her actions of using CPR on a fellow employee who works with her at the Doubletree Hotel on December 27, 2022 named Rusty Publow who passed out while he was on the clock.
Lillian who credits her training in high school taking first aid courses used CPR on Rusty while someone else called 911 to inform the authorities that Rusty needed help.
The first responders arrived on the scene where Lillian did her part to keep Rusty alive until the first responders took over to take him to a local hospital where Rusty has made a full recovery from his illness which was not released to the public.
Rusty is very grateful that Liliian was at the right place at the right time the day he passed out while he was working.
Shawn McAteer who is the Vice President and global head of Doubletree by Hilton praised Lillian for her actions of saving the life of a colleague.
