Mint leaves

I like the smell of mint leaves. I did have them in my garden but I normally buy them. I just have one use and that is to make a sweet chutney that goes well with the sweet pullao I make
The mint leaves are ground with jaggery, onion, green chilies and tamarind. That makes for a tasty chutney.
I have no knowledge about the health properties of this herb.
How do you use mint leaves?

I think water melon does not have a smell of its own and adding mint leaves in the juice will take care of that.

We have them (to many) in our garden, but rarely use them. They do smell good though.

I only use it as I said for making that chutney. Sad you do not make use of them.

@JamesHxstatic Just dropping a few leaves in water could make that water nice to drink

I like to put the fresh leaves and stems in a pitcher of ice water. It makes it extra refreshing!

The water must be absorbing the smell. That must be so refreshing

You mean you just drop them in your glass?

Mint cookies must be having mint leaves as one of the ingredients.

I love fresh mint, just brushing past the plant as I walk around the garden! We make mint sauce to eat with lamb or new potatoes (chopped mint, vinegar and sugar) and I also make an 'Indian-style' dip with the same mint sauce stirred into yogurt. Then I make tzatziki (Greek) with cucumber, garlic, mint and yogurt. I also love a simple salad with cubes of watermelon and crumbly white cheese (such as feta or Cheshire cheese) sprinkled with chopped fresh mint - so refreshing!

I like the smell of mint. Not sure if we have mint leaves here. I love chocolate mint ice cream.

Did not know they would add mint to ice cream. Does the ice cream smell of the mint?
