Hello everyone. Good evening from my side. Hope you are having a beautiful day. So, today's discussion is all about food. Well, I'm not a great cook. I'm a beginner, I must mention. I just explore, learn the process and give it a try. That's how I have started learning. I have started with simple and easy-peasy recipes. One such simple recipe that I learnt is tomato rice. It takes less time to prepare & it tastes amazing. Even though I know the preparation process, my mom would be beside me and would guide me. Every time I prepare this dish, it turns out really well. I wouldn't be bored to have this dish often. So, what's that one dish, which turns out really well every time you prepare? Thank you. Have a great day. Take care. Image: Mine.

Wow! Great to know, Icy. Dads are always like that. They never fail to appreciate us even if the dish we prepare is not up to the level.

I´m a very good cook, I must say. But one thing that is always helpful is to have pesto and make pasta with pesto. My grandkids love it and it is just cooking the pasta and pouring pesto sauce over it and some Parmesan cheese. It is the kind of food that you can cook while having fun with company.

@Teekaaa Thank you for the welcome. To make lasagna you need first to prepare a meat sauce, with ground beef, sausage, onion, tomato paste and tomato sauce. You need pasta noodles and cheese. You make layers starting with pasta sheets, top with the sauce and cheese and continue, usually 4 to 5 layers of pasta, then bake.

@rakski great. I like macroni too. We prepare macroni by boiling it, straining the water, and saute the boiled macroni with preferred spices and masalas. I have never had baked macroni.

When I was single, I have no knowledge in cooking. But having a family, I needed to learn how to cook. And good thing there youtube videos of recipes available. That image looked delish. Is that biryani rice?
