As I examine firing up old systems and computers that contain the bulk of my "garbage files" I need to sift through for my series, I am taken back to the way I used to have at least some of my setup organized. It looks nothing like this now. The oldest computer, where most of the files are is on the floor and the table it used to sit on has become a heap of a mess that really badly needs to be cleaned up. I do intend to get at this for a couple of reasons. One, I want to be able to easily and comfortably get access to the files and be able to do the approprate transfers so I can get them up on Soundcloud to share. But also, because the heaping mess is beginning to make me crazy. Incidentally, the other computer where this stuff is on has a lot of issues with a broken charger and plus a jumping cursor—that one is going to be a total pain to work with. But I will get it done. Anyway, I thought I would share this old picure of my old setup—also serves me well to remind me partly what it COULD look like and probably SHOULD look like. Onward and upward and see you on Garbage Files Episode 2 whenever I get around to getting something up to share.
