I have huge snow pea flowers this year! Big harvest predicted.

I have some really nice flowers on my snow pea plants/vines/whatever right now. I should have a most excellent snow pea harvest in a week or two. I hope they're extra sweet this year. We've had a rainy Winter (by California standards) so far, and things are looking green around here. I'll have to buy some stew meat and onions when harvest time comes, along with some mushrooms. I'll make a stir fry and maybe even cook up some rice. Anything exciting happening on your end? The rain has stopped and I am soon to head out to Mike's house to play some music with Mike and Glen. I'll be mostly on bass today. But I'll bring my guitar.

I'm jealous! You have a lot more snow pea flowers than I have pumpkin flowers.

When will you be harvesting your pumpkins?

@JudyEv I hope you don't wind up with slow house-swappers. Do your pumpkins tend to grow large? I don't think we have enough rain here for us to try pumpkins.

@TheHorse I'm a bit worried that they won't be ready before we go away but I don't mind the house-swappers having them. They seem to be very slow (the pumpkins, not the house-swappers).

It's been storming most of the day here and the forecast shows we may have storms for a few more days. Have fun with your friends this afternoon.

@TheHorse You're welcome. At least you aren't getting any snow at your elevation. Most people slow down and drive better when the weather is bad.

Thanks--it was a good time overall. It's storming here too and I saw more snow on Mt. Diablo today. But driving wasn't too bad. It was mostly Fwy driving and people were not acting like maniacs in the rain.

I love peas too. A friend grew them in her yard. I would come to her place sometimes and we ate peas right off the vine for breakfast. I hope your stir fry turns out great. I love it but have not had it in a long time.

@akalinus Oh, for sure. We've had a lot of rain but not a lot of hard freezes. I think this is going to be a good year for snow peas.

Nothing new. My husband is watching nascar on t.v. and I'm just sitting here catching up and getting some posting in. Even though I made payout and reached my goal, doesn't mean I don't want to make more.

I predict an abundant harvest of snow peas. We haven't planted our tower garden yet. With the weird weather we've been having, I'm wondering when a good time will be to do so.

Your snow pea plants look lovely and very productive!!! Nothing much going on here. Our housekeeper will be coming today after a month of being gone due to the lack of hot water and heat because of the basement flood.
