I’m just curious but…

have you ever tried drugs? My neighbor is playing this rap song nonstop and the singer said he just tried using drugs so ‘he won’t be blind’. I get it. He tried dope or smoked weed because he wanted to know what it’s like. And that got me thinking because I never in my life had a batch or something. I knew a few of my classmates in college were into it because someone would gossip about their funny smell or glassy eyes or how they would just keep on giggling when our prof was so serious. Yet they still went to school and did nobody any harm. And some young boys in my previous neighborhood would ask me if I had cigarette foil (from opened cigarette packs) and if they could have it. At first I didn’t know what they would do with the foil. As I listened to the song, it’s like a lightbulb moment. So they were doing drugs and I was enabling them?! Omg. I tried smoking and drinking alcohol but never drugs. Did I miss anything?

No. I never have and never will. The high you get might feel good in the short term, but it doesn't last. You start to crave more, and then you get to a point where you can't function without it. In the process it attacks your organs, killing them slowly. No. Not worth it.

@Adie04 Agreed. A few can go through rehab, but very few success stories. Because withdrawal, is just as dangerous and often leads to other health problems, and or overdoses because the hit is no longer strong enough.

I agree with you @kaylachan I also have seen a few people who have tried it before. It is a very bad decision for them to end their lives.

I smoked what made the people you are talking about giggle. Sometimes it was fun but many times it gave me anxiety. I haven’t touched it in years. Waste of precious money to me.

@sol_cee I’m happy that you don’t smoke. It’s such a nasty habit.

Yes, I have smoked weed before. I never really got too in to it, though. But I will admit, I did enjoy it. Unfortunately for me, I cannot smoke it anymore for different reasons - I get too paranoid and messed up, plus I am fairly certain that the medications that I take react with it and can cause even more serious problems for me. I don't think you are missing much, to answer your question. I mean yes, it can be fun, but it can also cause other underlying problems.
