Flat Tyre and the Reluctant Hard Luck

My last discussion didn't draw too many likes or comments. Still, I believe I owe a follow up to the faithful friends. After breakfast this morning I took down the front wheel. I borrowed a foster daughter's bicycle. ( You might know of those Kanyashree bicycles, gifted by the Chief Minister Mamata Didi). I tied the wheel onto the carrier and pedalled to the repair shop, a km away. It was rather a strenuous ride as the bicycle's wheels were not pumped tight. Anyway, the mistri repaired the wheel quickly and I returned home with it. Oh my hard luck! The air had leaked and a nearly flat tyre smiled at me teasingly. I fitted the wheel and rode back to the repair shop as fast as I could. The whole repair work was repeated with some extra care. It was midday when I got home. It's evening now and so far the wheel looks fine but you never know when it may decide to play a joke on me!

Yes xavier, I've had days like that myself, you just have to do what you gotta do, you did good in taking it in stride, and then some days are gonna be good !

Ultimately, I had to buy a new air tube and fix it in two days.
