Tik Tok is said to be made by China. So it is banned from all US government devices according to recent news report.
It is said that it can pose a threat to national security.
I hope this ban doesnot spread to all US citizens' devices.
I get a lot of fun and jokes from this app.
It is very popular among the young people.

No, I never used the app. because I have all I need on Twitter and Facebook. If that's the case then the government should look into it cautiously before formulating any law or decree, because America should firmly observe freedom of expression but at the same time, should still act as a police for democracy. It's a sensitive balance that the US should achieve.

I doubt the app will be banned from everyone, but it certainly makes sense to ban them from government computers—AND what @evilamericans said below.
