i want to introduce indonesian food that's call kentang mustofa. in english means spicy fried crispy potato and we call mustofa as the name of it.
according to stories circulating in Indonesian society, especially in the West Java area, this crispy potato was first cooked by a chef at the Cipanas Palace named Opo Mustofa, who worked for the first President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Sukarno. The food was made by Chef Mustofa and served to Ir. Sukarno. The president liked the new menu item and give the name Mustofa.
How to make it: potatoes are sliced ????into small pieces and fried until crisp. The spices are prepared and finely ground then fried until cooked. finally mixed with spices and fried potatoes. What do you think? Do you want to try to make?

@srirahayu68 Oh you bet! It just feels relaxing making dinner and eating something healthy after a hard day of work.
I think I have most of those spices. Don't have tamarinds right now though. Still, I can almost imagine the taste and that certainly looks like it'll be scrumptious!

I do like to try different foods so I might give this a go. I don't think I've had any Indonesian foods before. I'm not usually a fan of anything fried and crispy, but I'm sure it would be lovely with the right spices.

Hi Galih. Yes, this famous in West Jawa or Sundanese. In Central Java we call kering kentang. The potato fried until crispy then mix with seasoning. May I know the city you live? My home town is Pati City and now stay at Bogor
