I am becoming addicted to conservationist films.

Good morning, friends. Although I should say good afternoon because it is past noon.
I have been watching for some days some documentaries that began years ago with the late conservacionist Steve Irwin.
Steve Irwin had a program on TV called The crocodile hunter. He was an Australian conservacionist who died very young, at 44 years of age. All of his family have gone on with what he started.
Today I brought a piece of chocolate cake to my room and take a bite, mylot and watcht TV. Mylotting and cake is in commercials. Koalas and crocodiles keep me open mouthed the rest of the time.
I am happy to say that most of the money that is gathered is used to help with the wild animals that not only need food but hospitals and an adequate habitat.
We are slowly discovering that we must take care of our planet. But we are doing too little and too late.

@rakski I wish more people would really do something for the planet. Even a little help from each of us means something.

I am very familiar with Steve Irwin's family and their conservationist efforts. I agree with you. Our planet is in dire straits. Hope you have a good week.

I used to watch him when he was on. Even his daughter for a while. I watch things on the Animal Planet channel occasionally.
Too little too late and some in Congress still don't even believe there are any problems.

People in power (everywhere) are too powerful and too rich to really think that there is any problem. Theylive in mansions and there´s no pollution where they live.

That's what we call them documentaries, conversationalist almost made me think of reality tv and there is a big difference since documentaries are pretty educational where reality tv is just nothing but fake drama to get paid in my opinion.
Enjoy your cake and educational animal shows and do hope people start to take care of the planet better, but do not think they will.
Just the other day they had an air show, I think was maybe Australia with part of the program called the wall of fire. It sounds exactly what it is. People were making funny comments, well there goes every thing I did for the 5 past years to help with climate change. Our leaders could care less what they are doing to the planet.

These are documentaries. Only heartless people would think that they are the shallow "reality" shows. Those are fake, these are real. Some people spend their lives trying to make us aware of the miracle that our planet is. I remember, when I was young, about the Jacques Cousteau documentaries that opened my eyes to the ocean for the first time.

@crossbones27 I saw lots of delphins playing around our sailboat when my best friends invited me to St. Blas Islands some years ago. It was awesome. That, and flying fish.
