Yesterday, my self and my parents went to go visit my brother in the closest main/large city, of Toronto. We went to see my brother at his place, and then we went out to dinner for Korean BBQ. I really liked it, the restaurant. That was my second time ever going to Korean BBQ, and it's very tasty (in my opinion). My parents didn't really like it though.. But I guess to each, their own We did a few other things, but it was mainly seeing my brother at his place, and going out for dinner. It was very nice to see my brother again, as well, as I had not seen him for at least 2 or 3 months. Have you tried Korean BBQ, and if so, did you like it?

I haven't tried it, I'm vegetarian. Nice that you could visit your brother.

Oh nice, I have heard there are some pretty good benefits living the vegetarian or vegan diet. Thank you Ruby, it was a great visit, and I'm looking forward to seeing my brother again. Hopefully we see him around Easter time

No, I have not tried it. I don't see much of Korean restaurants here. What does your brother do?

Ahh, I see! If you get the chance, you should try it! My brother does computer programming work, mostly from home. He is quite smart

I like Korean BBQ, but I remember that my Mom did not like so much.

@dilleo I was not really surprised, my Mom only liked the food from the region where she was born.

Ahh, fair enough! I honestly thought it was very tasty, and was surprised my parents didn't like it.

Is Korean BBQ sweet or spicy? I've never had it. What's Toronto like? My husband and I have thought of going to its historic downtown part for a vacation.

I can't speak for all of the Korean BBQ places, but at least in this case, it was more sweet than anything. I don't remember any of the foods being spicy. My favourite dish was the beef ribs! I highly recommend it, it's a cool experience with great food, especially if you like meat Toronto has a lot to offer. It is quite busy, but there certainly is a lot of things to do and see there! I would definitely recommend it. If you and your husband end up going, I for sure would say to go see the CN Tower, downtown. I hope you aren't afraid of heights There is even a pretty nice restaurant right up in the tower

@dilleo The CN tower reminds me of Seattle's Space Needle. I don't know if I can handle that kind of height now or not. Thanks for the answer.

@sallypup Oh yes, I know of the Space Needle. What a neat place, by the looks of it! That is fair! It is just the first, of one of the first things that come to mind (CN Tower) but there definitely is a lot of other great things about Toronto too Also, you are welcome

I've had Korean once or twice and enjoyed it. I don't like anything too spicy so I'm never sure when ordering what I should choose. I'm glad you had a good time.
