It’s Been a Beaching Several Days

Happy Monday myLot! Since I don’t work, Monday is like my favorite day, Friday! We have a new white sand beach here. Small but great when the tide is out. I joined my brother on the beach a few days ago, which reminded us of our childhood beach days. A few of the happenings which kept me off here: *Beautiful weather *Cocktails and appetizers here for my brother and sister-in-law *Dinner out with my brother and sister-in-law *Shopping with hubs *Friday date night out *Cooking for the freezer *Beach party and barbecue at a friend’s house in Boca Raton *Cleaning *Laundry *Dinner at another friend’s house in Boynton Beach *Lunch, dinner, and shopping in Ft. Lauderdale *Lots of FaceTime, texts, phone calls, paying bills, and more cleaning and laundry *Checking out new hair salons which were not for me So, that’s why I have not been seen here. Can’t believe how time flies

I loved your schedule! The word "beaching" is clearly better than the word "queening" I hope you find a hair salon half as good as the one that keeps your hair so gorgeous. Enjoy!

Thanks! Lol! Had so much fun seeing friends I only see down here, but I still have to do the usual things such as housework, etc. I'm not on a vacation. I may have to return to the kisser salon after all. It's the only vivid one with a great atmosphere I could find so far. And I am very happy with their work. 2 more times and then I'll be home to see my own hairdresser.

@DianneN Nobody is completly on vacation ever When I go to Aruba, I take with me several plastic bags to put my used clothes in. When I´m back I spend a couple of days thanking Juanita, the washing machine, for her help. I could use the resort´s washing machines, but it would not be the same.

@marguicha That's the truth! I met a nice lady on a trip to Spain many years ago. She told me that she only brought her ugly, old, clothes when traveling and threw them all away before returning home. That way she either went home with an empty suitcase or filled with souvenirs People! To me, the worst part of traveling is packing and unpacking

That stinks you didn’t like the hair salons you checked out. How do you decide one seems good compared to others? The lunches and dinners with other folks sounds fun!

@DianneN I don’t think I’d want to go back go back to him either since he makes you uncomfortable. Is there any more places you can check out?

@shaggin Thanks. Hubs came with me and didn't like the looks of the salons either. I figure, 2 more visits to the kisser and I will be home.

@DianneN I know, I call housework the "perpetual motion", always the same things to do and every day. I cannot live in a dirty house. Things are getting better now, it seems that Covid is no more dangerous.

@LadyDuck So true. I still wear a mask in certain situations such as the supermarket and nail salon, etc.... I don't feel completely comfortable, yet. However, I have been eating inside restaurants lately. I refuse to go to my gym - mask or no mask - ever again.

It was lots of fun and lots of hearty laughs which is what I enjoy most. It's feast of famine with me. Mostly more fun in Florida for some reason. Have to make an appointment to return to the kisser. The other salons were too nasty and depressing for me. Only 2 more visits and then home to my usual guy.
