A most beautiful covid quilt

I’ve written about visiting a cousin. She is also a quilter and had some lovely pieces hanging in her lounge. I particularly like this one. Vince took a photo for me on his phone. The colours are much brighter on Vince’s screen than my own so I hope they come out nice and bright when I add the photo.
She calls this her ‘covid quilt’. She did a block (square) each day of the lockdown until she got it finished. I’m not a quilter but this looks incredibly complicated and intricate to me. I guess, maybe, it's a bit too 'fussy' in some ways but I hope, when it passed on, that someone in her family will appreciate all the work that has gone into it.

I don't see your rabbit but I do see a butterfly (below the fox), some kind of African mask under the ox, and a broody hen under that.

@rebelann I don’t see a rabbit I think it’s bugs.

The quilt is looking beautiful in the picture. There are lots of people who took their hobbies during the lockdown. Many people took gardening and grew lots of vegetables and fruits in their gardens. I tried cooking by watching YouTube but I failed miserably and could not cook as deliciously as my wife cooks.

Or maybe you knew you could rely on your wife and simply let her cook her delicious meals.
A friend of mine told me that her husband could not or would not cook a meal in a kitchen but loved to grill meat on an outdoor barbeque and he always made the meat very tasty and tender using all kinds of spices or marinades

No you did not misinterpret it, @Nurlia , each one of us is seeing something different in this beautiful piece. I did not notice sunflowers so let me check ......... oh my gosh, now I see the elephant and the sunflower.
Everyone is seeing something different, it is what makes this quilt so unique.

Very vivid colors. How big is it? I like the use of bullnose clips to hang it.

I never knew those were called bull nose clips, thanks for that clarification @barbaraprz
That's a really good size @judyev imagine if they framed it and hung it on a wall over a couch for emphasis

I think that I may like the more recent quilt that you posted better, but it’s a close one. They are both beautiful.

Oh, I see... this quilt is pretty, too. But I think I like the butterfly quilt better.
