I have not posted inspirational messages that are God centred because it creates controversy. But I had to share this message:
Today, Patricia, God wants you to know that your pains are God's way to rouse you from slumber.
Pain is your wake-up call to awaken, to look deeper into yourself, to adjust the course of your life. God tries to be as gentle as possible, and only if you ignore the call does the pain get stronger.
~~
Every morning is more and more difficult for me to get out of bed. I am too tired. In too much pain. Feel like I'm getting a cold (dry throat, stuffed up nose). This message was perfect for me today. How to adjust my life is the question? Get off the treadmill again? Because that's what I feel is causing me more fatigue and more pain.

I don't think you should have to forego posting things that matter to you. I am an atheist, but I can appreciate a good message. And besides, a person who does not believe does not have to read.
I post about politics and other sometimes controversial topics. I post because they are important to me. Not because they may make others cringe or feel uncomfortable.
Some people like to write about their health issues, others about problems in their lives, some about opinions or ideas...
Not everything nor everyone is everyone's cup of tea. But a post you write is yours and you should feel comfortable to post about whatever it is you want to.

@porwest Yes, I get that. I just don't want my page to be filled with people going against what I believe in. So I pick and choose which inspirations I post. Or I word them, if I can, to leave the religious terms out. It's a personal choice on my part.

Spiritual? How do you mean?
I have fibromyalgia... chronic pain, chronic fatigue. I guess in my old age it is just getting worse. F the doctor who first diagnosed me and said "exercise and you'll be better in 6 months". 26 years later...
